Ross M. Piscitelli, Esq. is the Founding Member and Managing Director of Trajan Group, LLC. Mr. Piscitelli is an attorney admitted to the practice of law in New York State and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York, having received his B.A. from Bucknell University and his J.D. from Albany Law School. Mr. Piscitelli also completed an extensive course of study in dispute resolution and workplace investigation at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University.
Mr. Piscitelli began his career with the New York State Governor's Office of Employee Relations, representing the Executive Branch in statewide labor arbitration and collective bargaining proceedings. Most recently, he spent eight years representing the New York State Police in employment matters, contract negotiations, collective bargaining and labor relations.
An accomplished investigator of workplace complaints, grievances and disciplinary cases on behalf of the New York State Police, Mr. Piscitelli has an extensive background in complex disputes, employment law issues and comprehensive personnel investigations that focus on providing organizations with the tools to identify and manage risk while ensuring legal compliance.
Mr. Piscitelli has more than ten years experience in complex labor negotiations and interest arbitration involving statewide civilian and police collective bargaining units and covering a large number of subject areas including salary, benefits, scheduling, leave, and discipline.
A seasoned negotiator of employment and personal services contracts on behalf of executives, athletes and other professional clients, Mr. Piscitelli has successfully represented a variety of individuals and organizations during all phases of bargaining. Among others, he has represented Richard Childress Racing, Inc. (RCR) in support of its NASCAR racing activities through the negotiation and preparation of sponsorship, employment and talent contracts.
Mr. Piscitelli mediates a myriad of disputes and specializes in the skillful resolution of complicated matters in the areas of labor, employment, contracts, commercial transactions, construction, sports, finance, and transportation. He serves on the Roster of Neutrals and as a guest lecturer at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University.
A member of the New York State Bar Association (the Dispute Resolution Section and the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section), the Labor and Employment Relations Association, and the New York State Dispute Resolution Association, Mr. Piscitelli lectures frequently and conducts training on various employment, labor, risk management and dispute resolution topics.
